Police in Filey are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was injured in a collision with a car that failed to stop.
It happened at around 6.20pm on Sunday (22 August) on Scarborough Road near Lea Farm.
The cyclist, a man in his 60s, was knocked from his bike and suffered a head injury. The vehicle failed to stop at the scene and drove off.

The cyclist remains in hospital and is being treated for concussion and shock.
Officers are appealing for the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “In particular, we ask that the driver of the vehicle comes forward and anyone who can help officers in locating the driver.”
