She used to serve out the shots in Popworld – but now Love Island star Georgia Steel is having her dream home built in York, ready to host summer parties round the wine cooler!
As the influencer says: “My wish came true”.
Georgia, who is from Thirsk, shared pictures of the home she is having built to her 1.6m Instagram followers.
She told one of her fans that her house was close to her family: “This is one factor that I’m so so so happy about and smile about it every day.
“I missed my family so much living in London/Essex the past four years, I needed somewhere close to them yet easily commutable for work etc.
“York seemed the best place.”
Georgia was a star of the 2018 series of Love Island. But her childhood was centred around her Thirsk home and trips into York.
She was a shot girl at worked at Popworld on George Hudson Street, and loved trips to Vodka Revolution, the Vudu Lounge and Evil Eye.
The reality star, 23, recently revealed that her younger self “wouldn’t believe” that she was able to build a property.
And it looks well on its way to completion, judging by these pictures.
Her home features a large open living room with marble style floor and bifold doors to the garden, a chich bathroom with a big standalone bath, and a kitchen with all mod cons: “Wouldn’t be my house without a wine cooler,” she writes.
