A car landed on its roof on a main York road this morning (Friday).
It happened on Lord Mayor’s Walk at around 7.45am.
Emergency services all attended the incident, and the road was closed both ways for nearly two hours.
It reopened at about 9.45am.
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 7.43am this morning to reports of a road traffic collision on Lord Mayor’s Walk in York.
“We dispatched an ambulance to the scene and one patient was conveyed to York Hospital.”
It appears there were three vehicles involved. As well as the red car that landed on its roof, another car has gone into the back of the white van in our main photograph.
