An 11-day-old baby was in a car that crashed near York today (Sunday).
Thankfully the baby was unhurt.
Fire crews from York and Huntington were called to the accident at Gate Helmsley at 11.40am.
It involved a Mitsubishi towing a caravan and a Mercedes car.
The fire crews dealt with a coolant leak and carried out traffic management until police arrived.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A 50-year-old female complaining of chest pains was checked by paramedics along with an 11-day-old baby who had no obvious signs of injury.”
