A man was threatened with a ‘bladed article’ on a cycle path in York, police have revealed.
Officers are appeal for witnesses and information about what they describe as ‘an altercation’ that occurred on the track near to Heworth Village.
It happened at about 1pm on 12 June when “a man in his thirties threatened another man with a bladed article”.
The suspect is described as:
- in his thirties
- 6ft 3in to 6ft 4in tall
- of slim build
- with short shaven dark hair
- and a dark goatee style beard.
He was wearing a grey jacket, grey jogging shorts and trainers as well as a gold watch and gold ring.
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police.
