York’s Marks and Spencer is to start delivering food, drink and more to your doorstep.
It has partnered with food delivery company Deliveroo give customers access to essential groceries and some of their M&S favourites and treats.
The new service is only available across selected stores, including the York branch on Pavement – and it goes live this Thursday (7 May).
Josh Plaxton of York M&S told YorkMix: “We are so pleased to be launching this partnership with Deliveroo at Marks and Spencer York.
“Getting fresh food straight to your door has never been more important and we are so proud to be able to help the York community do just this
“We are only one of 40 shops in the business to be able to offer this partnership.
“This service will help us play our part in feeding the nation and providing the York community with essential items they need.”
Different hours
If you live within the York catchment area, you will be able to get everything from milk and bread to pizza and wine straight to your doorstep.
The Deliveroo ordering hours – which are different to the York store opening hours – are:
- Mon-Fri: 11.30am-6pm
- Saturday: 11.30am-6.30pm
- Sunday: 11am-4.30pm
