So what did you think? As with all episodes of Grand Designs, there’s one key question for every viewer to answer at the end: would I like to live in that house?
Last night’s episode followed the story of Martin and Kae Walker of Poppleton as they constructed a eco-friendly self-built home for their family.
They were, in the words of the Channel 4 press blurb, “inspired by a giant farm shed”.
The programme aired on Channel 4 last night. For those who missed it, the episode will be shown again on Channel 4 at 8pm on Saturday (September 21) on Channel 4 – or you can watch it on 4OD here.
