A driver has been taken to hospital after crashing into a hedge near York.
The accident happened at 10.26am today (Monday) on the B1224 York-Wetherby Road near Rufforth Hall.
No other vehicle was involved
Firefighters from Acomb and York went to the scene and cut the male driver free from the wreckage of his car. He was taken by ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary suffering from chest pains.
