An elderly couple have been hurt after being hit by a car in York.
Police in York are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following the collision on Fulford Road involving a car and two pedestrians.
It happened near the Iceland store around 10am on Wednesday (4 December) when a Volkswagen Touran collided with an 86-year-old man and an 84-year-old woman.
The woman was treated for minor injuries at hospital and later discharged.
The man suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital. The driver of the Volkswagen was uninjured.
A North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said:

We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
