First tickets go on sale for York’s new Cineworld cinema – for just £3

The first tickets have gone on sale for York’s new Cineworld cinema – at a celebration price of £3 each.

The tickets are available to book now for screenings from Friday 13th December – Tuesday 17th December.

The full set of film listings will be available to purchase online.

Cineworld York will open its doors to the public on Friday 13 December 2019, just in time for the highly anticipated film Jumanji: The Next Level.

Amazing new cinema

The new cinema, located at the Community Stadium, will feature 13 state-of-the-art screens including an IMAX theatre, immersive cinema experience ScreenX, and ViP viewing screens, complete with complimentary dining, and luxury reclining seats.

Cineworld York will also offer a Baskin Robbins ice cream counter, rollover hot dogs, frozen drinks and a Starbucks.

As well as the £3 ticket offer, cinemagoers will have the opportunity to experience IMAX and ScreenX for less during the week: IMAX 2D for £7,70, IMAX 3D for £9 and ScreenX for £6.
