A woman was hurt in an alleged assault outside the York Barbican.
Police are appealing for information about the incident which happened on Paragon Street between 7pm and 9.30pm on Thursday (7 November).
It involved a man and woman in their late twenties.
The woman suffered a small cut just above her left eye and swelling. She didn’t require medical assistance.
A man in his late twenties was arrested and bailed with conditions pending further enquiries.
