See York like you’ve never seen it before…
Ryedale House is now York’s tallest residential building, having been transformed into luxury apartments by developers Newby.
Once home to the North Yorkshire Health Authority, it has been empty for years. Now the revitalised building contains 77 apartments across 7 floors, ranging from one to three bedrooms in size and £250,000 to £1.25 million. It is due for completion in June 2020.
Three new commercial units have been built at street level – the only extension of the original floor plan.
The best views in York?
“You’ll struggle to find a better residential view in the city,” Anthony Mackle, Sales and Marketing Director at Newby, told YorkMix. “We believe that we have the best views in York.”
The show-apartment, on the sixth floor and shown here, is priced at £575,000 and is 1,024 square feet.
With floor to ceiling glazing and specced to a high-end finish, the apartments include underfloor heating, mood lighting (including the bathrooms) and USB outlets alongside tradition three-pin sockets.
On Saturday 19th October there will be an open launch, giving an opportunity for members of the public to have a look around this show apartment.
Coffee and pastries will be provided on the day by Lotte the Baker from Spark.
