This is now York’s main Post Office.
The business moved out of its purpose-built home on Lendal after 135 years – and into a corner of the Coney Street WH Smith.
It comes with five serving positions and four self-service kiosks.
The relocation caused controversy, with more than 3,000 signing a petition against the idea.
However, the Post Office said the new arrangement offers more convenience to customers, including longer opening hours.
