A cyclist was seriously injured in an accident outside a well-known York restaurant.
He was hurt in a collision between his bike and a silver Ford Transit van outside Toby Carvery Hopgrove on the A1036 Malton Road, at about 2.50pm on Monday (4 February)
The cyclist, a man in his 30s, sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital.
The road was closed until about 7.45pm, while collision investigators worked at the scene.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Thank you to motorists for their patience while this took place.”
