A car crashed into a hotel in York.
The blue Vauxhall Astra hit French windows at the Doubletree by Hilton in the city centre this lunchtime (Friday October 5).
It smashed the window on the St Maurice’s Road side of the hotel. It appears to have left the road and crossed the car park before the collision.
A silver Astra was stationary on the pavement of St Maurice’s Road. It has a dent in the driver’s side door.
A North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said it was a three-vehicle collision.

One of the vehicles has crashed into the Doubletree by Hilton hotel.
A female driver has been taken to York Hospital with what are believed to be chest pains.
The council will be attending to assess the building. There is likely to be congestion for some time in the area.
Police taped off the scene but the road stayed open.
A spokesperson for Doubletree by Hilton York said the hotel – and its restaurant and bar – were open as normal.
Apart from the outside area and pavement being cordoned off for a couple of hours, the accident had caused little disruption.
