Just 15 amazing images from the York International Tattoo Convention

Some of the top tattooists were in York this weekend – creating remarkable body art.

Inking artists and enthusiasts gathered in the somewhat incongruous surroundings of the New Earswick Indoor Bowling Club.

With skull trophies up for grabs, they worked their needle magic over the two days. Here is a selection of some of the body art created.
