A camper van has been destroyed in a blaze in York.
Firefighters from York and Acomb tackled the fire in the vehicle parked on a house driveway on Beckfield Lane on Saturday at 5.05pm (April 14).
They put out the fire using foam. The blaze was serious enough to cause damage to an upstairs window of the house, and the roof lining.
Crews used hosereels, breathing apparatus, foam and a thermal imaging camera in tackling the fire. They also winched the vehicle away from property.
An engine fault is thought to be the cause.
