Four young stars brought the sunshine with them as they filmed in Shambles today (Thursday).
The quartet were in York’s most famous street to shoot footage for a new TV advert.
And with the sun beaming down the ad will help to promote our beautiful city too.

Moving on
A large film crew took over parts of the street as they shot scenes for a commercial for train company Transpennine Express.
The children were filmed with colourful lollipops and wearing shades on the corner of Little Shambles, next to the Essence Of Peru shop.
For reasons which will no doubt become clear when the final advert is televised, they were shouting “No you’re not!” into the camera.
Later they were filmed enjoying their lollipops at the King’s Square end of Shambles.

The team have already been filming scenes elsewhere in the country, including in Glasgow.
Yesterday they were at the Angel Of The North, and captured footage despite the torrential downpours.
Later on Thursday they were due to film scenes in Scarborough and Leeds, with another day’s filming set in Liverpool.
