A woman was assaulted at a York city centre taxi rank.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident on Duncombe Place in the early hours of Sunday (February 4).
At around 12.35am there was an altercation involving men and women which resulted in a woman being assaulted. A man who was involved left the area before police arrived.
He is described as
- white
- 5ft 8ins tall
- with dark hair
- and wearing dark clothing.
A North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
