Two people were hurt in a car accident in York.
It happened at about 8pm on Friday, December 8, at the junction of James Street and Lawrence Street.
A grey Isuzu pickup truck and a grey Nissan X-Trail 4×4 collided.
Two of the Nissan X-Trail’s occupants were injured as a result of the accident. The rear seat passenger required treatment at York Hospital.
They have since being discharged from hospital with no serious injuries.
The stretch of road was closed for 30 minutes while officers investigated the scene and the cars were recovered.
A police spokesman said: “We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.”
