As York says goodbye to another bumper Big City Read, the organisers want to know what you thought about it.
They are looking for feedback to help plan the next one and make it even better.
The Big City Read is about sharing the joy of reading. People have taken part in a huge variety of events and activities across the city over the last two months to increase their enjoyment of reading this year’s book, Helen Cadbury’s To Catch a Rabbit.
“We have welcomed some of the very best crime authors in the country and readers have been solving murder mysteries, discovering more about the themes in the book, writing their own stories and talking about reading,” said Wendy Kent of Explore York Libraries and Archives.
Aimed at everyone
The Big City Read is aimed at everyone in York and the Explore team would like as many people as possible to let them know what they thought about it, how they took part in it and what we can do to improve it in the future.
To help out, complete the online survey. It will take about 10 minutes to fill in and the deadline is December 22.
If people can’t fill in the survey online they can ask for a printed copy from any library in York and return it by the same date.
