A man was left with facial injuries after a disturbance close to York city centre.
Police were called to Huntington Road, next to the Monkgate roundabout, at about 2.30pm on Friday, September 1.
The disturbance involved two men in their 40s, one of whom suffered bruising to his face.
The other man was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm. He has been released on bail while investigations continue.
Officers would like anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch.
