A man has been charged with theft after clothes worth hundreds of pounds were stolen from the York Designer Outlet.
Acting on a tip-off, officers from North Yorkshire Police went to the shopping centre on Saturday (June 3).
A 48-year-old man from Driffield was detained by security staff at the shopping centre. He was arrested by the police officers on suspicion of theft.
Suspected stolen items were recovered from a vehicle.
The man was subsequently charged with the theft of £196.55 worth of clothes from the branch of Joules at the McArthurGlen outlet.
He will appear at York Magistrates Court on Monday, June 19.
