Artists have spray painted one of York’s ancient walls.
But this was no ordinary work of graffiti. Instead it is a striking picture of a famous steam train arriving at a Yorkshire station.

Created by London-based street art specialists Graffiti Life, the picture was painted on on a 3m by 4m canvas attached to the wall next to York Art Gallery in Exhibition Square. It will brighten up the city centre for the next week.
The picture shows Royal Scot arriving into Grosmont Station.
And that will be happening in real life, when the well-known loco travels along the North Yorkshire Moors Railway between March 25 and April 2.
The railway is encouraging everyone who sees the artwork to let NYMR know by using the hash tag #NYMaRt.
