One of York’s most talked-about pub openings is upon us.
BrewDog on Micklegate opens on Friday (December 9) – and we’ve had a sneak preview.
It is the Scottish independent brewery’s 48th bar, promising “an epic range of craft beer across 14 draft lines, plus an extensive bottle offering”.
Local beers will join favourites from international breweries as well as the BrewDog own brews. These include flagship beer, Punk IPA, and new seasonal favourites Santa Paws and Hoppy Christmas.
And if all that beer makes you peckish, take your pick from the pizza menu.
There should be plenty of room – BrewDog takes up all of 130-134 Micklegate.

It’s exciting to finally open the doors, as we know there is a very thirsty community of locals who are keen to pay a visit! Merry Christmas, York!
