A 98-year-old woman was hurt after being hit by a car in Heworth, York.
Police are appealing for information after the woman pedestrian was in collision with a BMW X5.
It happened at about 10.40am on Thursday (December 13) on East Parade at its junction with Harcourt Street.
The woman sustained head, chest and abdominal injuries and was taken to York Hospital for treatment.
As we reported yesterday, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called to the scene.
Officers are appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision to contact them.
