It began in the rain and ended in the evening sunshine – the perfect ingredients for a rainbow.

And with its Raise Your Rainbow theme York Pride brought the city together under the colourful flag of inclusion on Saturday (June 20).

The annual event to celebrate the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community was all about showing how gay-friendly the city could be.

And with a parade through the city streets from the Minster and a party on Knavesmire, the day will filled with fun, laughter and friendship.

York Minster’s official photographer, Duncan Lomax of Ravage Productions, was there to capture the colour in these brilliant photographs.
