College Green, off Goodramgate, York
Created by the York BID, this area next door to York Minster is where you can enjoy food and drink bought from nearby pubs and restaurants.
Thor’s Sol Ást
Principal York Hotel, Station Road, York
Found in the Principal York Hotel Gardens, until 6th September 2020, this outdoor area and tipi offers table service from the bar. It’s card-only and they advise pre-booking for parties of four or more.
17-21 Piccadilly, York
Always a favourite in the sunshine, you can sit outside in York’s box park enjoying food and drink from city producers.
Lamb & Lion Inn
High Petergate, York
Adjoining the city walls, this fab beer garden affords a terrific view of the Minster to admire while sipping your G&T.
Dyls Café Bar
The Motor House, Skeldergate Bridge, York
Earlier in the lockdown it was the only place to get a drink. But even with more choice Dyls offers an idyllic spot by the river.
