A fire appliance from York responded to many calls received from the public of a car on fire on a driveway in Chaloners Road, York.
On their attendance the fire appliance extinguished a car fire, which had also spread to the front of the adjacent property damaging the door and window.
A female, aged mid-30s also suffered burns to her face and hand and was transported to hospital by ambulance.
