Police are investigating an incident in which a boat ploughed into a rowing race on the River Ouse in York.
It happened around 12.30pm on Sunday (23 June) during the York Summer Regatta, held between Lendal and Scarborough bridges.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Whilst the races were ongoing a blue cruiser boat ignored race marshals and entered the race area manoeuvring erratically and colliding with several rowing boats.
“We’re particularly appealing for any video or phone footage of the incident.”
