Police are investigating after a body was discovered in a York hotel.
They were called to the Travelodge on Hull Road, behind the Black Bull pub, at lunchtime on Saturday (27 January).
Witnesses said three police vans, an ambulance and a paramedic car went to the scene.

This morning, a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “At 12.30pm on Saturday police attended a hotel on Hull Road in York and found the body of a man, believed to be in his 40s.
“Officers investigating the incident do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
“A file is being prepared for the coroner.”
