As York Mix is truly independent and owned by local people, unlike the Press, I would much rather support them! Keep up the excellent work guys..
Thanks John!
Can’t Yorkmix save the grim news for the front pages of The Press and keep giving us the positive developmentsof our fair city? Otherwise it becomes another local rag (I like the Press and prefer to support them by buying it).
Hi Ruth. Our aim is to reflect city life in all its aspects, which will inevitably include crime stories and other “grim news”. We also feel it’s important to help the police catch those responsible by putting these articles live with the descriptions and contact numbers so the news reaches our expanding readership which might potentially include vital witnesses.
These stories will be only a part of our coverage, though, with lots of fun, information, positive news, things to do, lively opinion pieces etc thrown in to the “mix” too. Do you have anything you’d like to see us cover?
