The York River Art Market returns this summer, over three full weekends.
Found on Dame Judi Dench Walk, next to the Ouse, YRAM’s relaxed and vibrant atmosphere has been compared to Left Bank in Paris.
People are free to browse and buy directly from an array of artists who will be showcasing their creative wares all along the riverside railings.
At each of the six separate art markets, a different group of more than 30 artists will set up on the riverside.
YRAM caters for all budgets. You can find printed artists cards or original oil paintings and all direct from the artist. Expect paintings , prints, jewellery, textiles , glass work , ceramics and more.
Visitors can get refreshments from the ice cream boat ‘Over The Moo’ and nearby restaurant Starr Inn the City, or you could opt for a picnic beside the river or in Museum Gardens.
All the art markets run between 10am and 5.30pm. The dates for YRAM 22 events are:
