A popular York pub has reopened after a £130,000 refurb added colour, fun and games.
Keystones at Monk Bar has a new modern look including retro gaming stations and USB points in every nook and cranny.
Twenty-inch TVs hooked up to the retro gaming stations show ‘old school’ classics, while a Secret DJ lets customers choose the music.

The bar now serves five craft beers and three on draught. Beer is sourced locally from the likes of Brew York, Ilkley Brewery Company, and The Great Yorkshire Brewery.
Spirit infusions include Rhubarb and Custard Sweet Gin, Pineapple and Habanero infused Rum and Watermelon Infused Vodka.
Pub manager Rob Highland said, “We’re really popular with students so they’re in for a treat when they return but it was great to get the locals support for the big opening in the meantime.”
