Firefighters came to the rescue after a woman fell down a well.
Two crews from Huntington were called to the scene in Strensall at about 6.15pm on Wednesday (October 31).
The woman, in her 60s, had fallen almost five metres (16ft) into the one metre diameter well.
She was standing on the bottom, waist deep in water.
Crews lowered an extension ladder into the well, allowing the woman to climb out.
Firefighters then administered first aid to a head injury until the ambulance arrived.
