Firefighters rescued a woman from her car after a crash near York.
Crews from York and Selby were called to Main Street, Escrick at 1.49pm yesterday (Sunday) where two cars collided.
The position of one of the cars trapped a woman in the other one.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews used the vehicle mounted winch to move the vehicle and release the female and left her in the care of ambulance crews to receive a precautionary check.”
