A woman was punched in the face and kicked on her way home from a York pub.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information about the assault that took place near Graham & Co hairdressers on York Road in Strensall.

Between 12.45am and 1am on Saturday 27 November a man and a woman were assaulted by a suspect shortly after leaving the Half Moon pub.
