Police are investigating an assault and act of criminal damage involving two women drivers and a 16-year-old boy.
It happened in Thorpe Willoughby near Selby at around 5.15pm on Saturday 7 October.
Following an altercation with a cyclist on Field Lane, the woman driver of a dark coloured Peugeot assaulted the woman driver of a blue Toyota Yaris.

The Peugeot driver is described as
- white
- of medium build
- about 5ft tall
- either in her late thirties or early forties
- with bleached blond hair and dark roots
- styled with half in a bun and the remaining hair worn loose to shoulder length.
She was wearing a black and white spotted jumpsuit.
Shortly after this incident an item was thrown at the Yaris, which had turned onto Fox Road, cracking the rear window.
The cyclist is described as
- white
- around 16-years-old
- about 5ft tall
- of slim build
- with dark brown hair styled with short back and sides and longer curls on top
- with a fresh complexion.
He was riding a black BMX bike.
