This hilarious TikTok video from the account @googlemapsfun shows the moment when a hungry Google Street View driver called in at the Poppleton branch of McDonald’s in York.
And you can follow their journey step by step on Google maps, from the moment they arrive to when they pop a debit card against the contactless machine to when they collect their receipt for the meal.
But the way the cameras work, all we see is a ghostly disembodied hand. Luckily for the Google driver, there’s no sign of his face!
The TikTok video has gone viral – with 2.6 million views. Viewer Amelia was one of the first to spot the location, commenting: “OMG that’s Poppleton York! 😳😂”
