THINGS TO DO THIS OCTOBER HALF TERM

New for 2021 experience Move It! This October half term, join us and think like an engineer as we explore how the railways are designed to get things moving through a range of action-packed activities.

BUILD A LOCOMOTIVE

See how a steam engine works in this fun making activity. Build your very own Lego steam locomotive that you can take home.

Build a Locomotive activity costs £5 per participant and will be taking place from 25 to 29 October. This activity can be booked in advance alongside your entrance ticket, or on the day—subject to availability.

MAKE IT! LEGO CHALLENGE

Get inventive with Lego in this design and building activity, and explore the challenges faced by engineers past, present and future. Free activity, no booking required.

BUILD A BRIDGE

Think like an engineer and use a range of different materials and experimental techniques to design and create your very own bridge​. Free activity, no booking required.

LET’S MOVE IT!
