Evening Fairy Walks
Sat Oct 23 @ 4.00 pm – Sun Oct 31 @ 8.00 pm
England’s Fairy Sanctuary is celebrating halloween with the fairies, in our charming family event, featuring magical evening lantern walks and storytelling from Professor Howland’s extensive collection of true fairy histories and mythologies.
Guided lantern walks at dusk and first dark, aimed at little ones or those of all ages who would rather not be scared witless, but want to enjoy a more seasonal experience instead.
Arrive to the Northwood kitchen and have a free glass of alcoholic or non alcoholic punch. Then there is a guided walk with our storytelling guide cloaked in Autumn. Enjoy tales from Professor Howlands collection, as you stroll through a lantern lit fairy wood. Approximate total time 1 hour. Afterwards enjoy the Autumn grotto and the fairy museum and relax in the Northwood kitchen bar.
Very limited sessions with a maximum of 30 per session at 4pm, 5.30 and 7pm during the October half term. Come dressed for the season and weather with appropriate footwear. Parts of the walk in the woods are very dark, you may want to bring a lantern or small torch.
