Website launch event called off because of covid alerts but site will go live next week
The launch event for a new website encouraging people to ‘Explore the Heart of Yorkshire’ has been postponed but the site holding page is now live.
The event was due to take place at The Drover’s Arms, on Monday in Skipwith, but a number of key officers and guests have received an alert from Test & Trace requiring them to self-isolate.
A new date will be announced later on in the Autumn.
The website has been set up by Selby District Council with the Selby District Visitor Economy Advisory Board and members of Tourism Industry, It seeks to promote the many visitor attractions and places to eat around Selby, Tadcaster and Sherburn-in-Elmet.

The full website should be running from next week.
