Shiver me timbers! Berwick Kaler and the gang are back at the Grand Opera House York this year for more pantomime shenanigans.
Oh yes they are! This year the gang are off on a swashbuckling adventure inspired by the legend of Robinson Crusoe.
Berwick Kaler will write, direct and star – and he’s joined once again by his trusty crew of of David Leonard, Suzy Cooper, Martin Barrass and AJ Powell.
Robinson Crusoe and the Pirates of the River Ouse is on at the Grand Opera House from Saturday 9 December 2023 to Saturday 6 January 2024.

In typical Berwick fashion, the finer details are yet to be revealed but audiences can expect to be taken on a sea-faring journey of escapades, laughter and fun.
“We go on an adventure,” said David, “and we encounter pirates.”
“It’s unique to York this pantomime,” said Berwick.
“We’ve had people from all over the world come to see us.
“I absolutely love them and I wouldn’t think of doing anything else.”
