This was the moment when a car burst into flames in York.
It happened at about 1pm today (Sunday) on the slip road to Bilborough Top Services on the A64.
Nic Barella shared the footage on his Twitter feed.
Fire crews from Tadcaster and Acomb were sent to the incident.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The fire involved a Mini Cooper.
“The fire originated in the engine compartment and caused 100% fire damage to the vehicle.
“Crews gained access to the boot with hydraulic spreaders to remove and cool a small camping gas cylinder which had also been involved.”
Firefighters put out the flames with a hose reel jet. The fire is thought to have been caused by an engine fault.
