A man has been charged after a window was smashed on a First York bus.
Police issued a CCTV image of a cyclist they wanted to talk to after a man punched and smashed the window as the bus travelled over Ouse Bridge on December 20.
Now North Yorkshire Police have identified and charged a man with criminal damage in connection with the incident.
They thanked everyone for sharing the appeal. As requested we have now taken down the original CCTV image.

Cyclist smashes First York bus window with fist
A cyclist punched and smashed a bus window as it went through York city centre.
Now police have released this CCTV image of a man they want to talk to about the incident.
At about 5pm on December 20 a First York Bus with passengers on board was travelling over Ouse Bridge when a passing cyclist punched a window and smashed it.
No one on board was injured.
Officers are appealing to any members of the public who can help identify the man shown in the CCTV image to contact them – details below.
