Two men found dead at a house in North Yorkshire

Police are investigating the sudden death of two men.

They were found at an address at Orchard Drive in Barlby.

Officers discovered the bodies just before midday today (Monday 27 September).

They were making enquiries at the house as part of a missing person investigation involving a 38-year-old man from Barnsley.

Police have informed the missing man’s family about the death, along with the family of a local man aged in his late 20s.

The deaths are not believed to be suspicious. A report is being compiled on behalf of the coroner.

Earlier today, the force said they were searching for missing Darren Beevers, 38, from Barnsley, who was believed to be in the Selby area.

He was reported missing on Sunday night.
