This was the scene on a busy York road this afternoon (Friday).
Two cars collided on the A1237 at Haxby.
Police, ambulances, and fire crews from Acomb and Huntington went to the scene.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “One person was trapped in a vehicle and extricated by crews used hydraulic cutting equipment. Crews also administered oxygen therapy.”
The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
