Police investigating a raid on a York shop have made two arrests.
As YorkMix reported, the One Stop shop on Dodsworth Avenue was robbed on Friday night.
It happened at around 8.40pm when two masked suspects threatened staff before making off with cigarettes.
No weapons were seen or used in the offence.
Police have arrested a 41-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman in connection with the incident.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The suspects have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
“A 44-year-old man was also arrested. Following questioning, he was released with no further action taken.”
The shop was closed for most of Saturday, reopening at about 5pm.
