The Grand Opera House York have revealed three huge shows coming to the theatre next spring.
2026 is already set to be a fantastic year for theatre in York – as three smash-hit musicals are coming to one of York’s beloved theatres, the Grand Opera House.
These include the debut tour of the West End and now Broadway sensation Operation Mincemeat, and musical comedy classic Legally Blonde on a brand new tour.
And local theatre company York Stage are bringing another premiere to the city with Come From Away – the poignant musical that follows the true story of 7,000 airplane passengers who were stranded in a small town in Newfoundland, Canada, following the events of 9/11.

Come From Away
Welcome to the rock! York Stage will be bringing the smash-hit musical Come From Away to York for the first time time!
