Emergency services were called to a serious crash in Tadcaster last night (Thursday).
They were called to the collision, involving a van and an Audi car, on Leeds Road, Tadcaster at 5.04pm.
Firefighters from Tadcaster and Wetherby worked to free the occupants of the Audi.
Using hydraulic cutting equipment they removed the roof of the car, giving the people inside oxygen.
Three people from the Audi were taken to hospital. One passenger, in his 20s, had head injuries.
The driver and the other passenger suffered back, neck and chest injuries.
The driver of the van was suffering from shock.
